MEAGAN O’SHEA | website
Meagan O’Shea is an interdisciplinary contemporary dance and theatre artist who divides her time between creating new work, performing, training, and teaching. Her solo dance theatre show Night Stills has been presented across Canada and in New York City since its premiere in Toronto in 2003. A short dance film based on Night Stills is forthcoming. Meagan is currently working on two interactive quilt and performance projects:  As I unravel small maps of my spirit and something blue.  She has been guest artist at The Banff Centre, Lynda Raino Dance in Victoria, Sunshine Coast Dance Society in Gibsons, EarthDance in Massachusetts, and at her home studio HUB 14 in Toronto. O’Shea has been a guest artist in residence at Dance Base in Edinburgh Scotland, and at The Theatre Centre in Toronto.  Her group work has been commissioned by Dusk Dances, Dance Ontario, YMI Dancing and Whetstone Productions.  Originally from Ottawa, Meagan trained with Le Groupe Dance Lab, at The School of Dance, Simon Fraser University, Main Dance Place, One Yellow Rabbit, and with many independent masters in dance and theatre.
